SATELLITE: ABOUT US

Satellite is a Liverpool-based, female-led music and events company founded in 2020 by two local musicians and music graduates. The company was formed following the closure of the Epstein Theatre in Liverpool, where Satellite directors Rach Hankin and Helen Maw founded the Epstein Lounge Sessions; a monthly live music event held in the venue’s bar with the aim to showcase and provide a platform for local and upcoming talent. 

Providing a safe and inclusive space for emerging artists to perform and hone their practice is at the core of what we do. We also believe that collaboration is the key to success, especially after the detrimental effect the global pandemic has had on the music and arts industries. We hope to work with and support many local businesses and artists, as we owe a lot to the generosity of the people of Liverpool’s entertainment scene.
